The power back-transmission of the boost station of the former Yuanyang Runyuan 100MW wind power project was successful

At 17:07 on December 5, 2023, after a day and night "fight", the power back-transmission of the former Yuanyang Runyuan 100MW wind power project was successful. Up to now, the equipment in the station has been running safely and stably, and the instruments, protection and control systems are accurate.

The newly built 110kV boost substation of the project covers an area of 5,310m2, and the structures cover an area of 2,560m2.The station is divided into production area and office area from south to north. The southern production area mainly includes prefabricated cabins and 15MW/30MWh energy storage devices, and the outdoor distribution devices mainly include 1 main transformer with a capacity of 100MVA, GIS high-voltage equipment, 1 station grounding transformer, 1 set of SVG devices with a capacity of ± 24Mvar and 110kV framework. The 35kV collector line is connected to the 110kV boost station, and a 110kV outgoing line is built. The overhead line is connected to the 110kV Guandu substation, with a distance of about 1.4km.


After the installation and commissioning is completed, the equipment in the boost station has been simulated for many times without power, and special personnel are arranged to be responsible for the key links and areas. The coordination with the power grid company is strengthened, and the technical personnel of the participating units, equipment manufacturers and commissioning units are organized to be stationed at the boost station in advance, and all kinds of electrical equipment are comprehensively debugged to ensure the safe and smooth power back-transmission.


On November 30, in accordance with the requirements of State Grid Henan Electric Power Company on the operation management of power plant grid connection, and with reference to the relevant requirements of "Safety Conditions and Evaluation Norms for Wind Turbine Grid Connection", State Grid Henan Electric Power Company conducted safety inspection before the grid connection of the original Yuanyang Runyuan 100MW wind power project (Zherun Wind Power Plant and Zherun Energy Storage Power Station).

Through on-site inspection, data access, and communication with on-site personnel, the safety inspection work before the grid connection of relay protection, DC, automation, communication, network security, production preparation and other related professions was completed.

On the premise of strictly ensuring safety and quality, the project department strengthened internal control, worked day and night to rush the construction period, built special classes to cooperate with all parties involved in the construction to "find problems and solve problems", refined the division of key tasks, sorted out the power transmission process, organized practical training on safety, operation and maintenance for many times, so as to ensure rapid response and coordination to deal with all kinds of problems during the power transmission period.

Since the project started construction, the owner and the company's leaders have paid great attention to the progress of the project, visited the site to check the construction situation and solve difficult problems for many times, which has played a key role in promoting the project construction. On the afternoon of December 5, Zhang Peng, general manager of East China Regional Development of Beijing Tianrun New Energy Investment Co., Ltd., Ren Hao, director of East China Regional Engineering, Qiu Shangyuan, general manager of Henan Branch, went to the 110kV boost substation of Yuanyang Runyuan 100MW wind power project to check the operation of equipment and facilities on the spot and listen to the work report of our company on the project construction.

The smooth realization of the backward power transmission is a strong guarantee for the project construction. The project department will focus on the goal of full capacity grid-connected power generation, continue to develop the work style of overcoming difficulties and arduous struggle, overcome difficulties and obstacles such as land expropriation, serious work blockage, and complex and changeable external construction environment, and fully promote the project construction and complete the performance target as scheduled.
