At 9:17 on July 19, 2025, the W4 wind turbine position of the 312,500-kilowatt wind power project in the west District of Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province, which was constructed by our company, was filled with firecrackers. The first XCMG XGL3300-220S boom tower crane in China successfully completed the first lift operation of the mixed tower here, not only injecting strong impetus into the construction of the Qitaihe wind power project With the dual breakthroughs of "the first unit in the country and the first hoist in the country", it has declared that China's wind power hoisting technology has reached the top level in the industry.
The equipment used for this hoisting operation is the XCMG XGL3300-220S boom tower crane, which can be regarded as an "all-round champion" for our wind farm construction. It adopts an innovative design to achieve independent ground installation without attachment or foundation, significantly reducing site dependence and installation costs. With a maximum lifting capacity of 220 tons and an independent lifting height of 204 meters, it can meet the on-site hoisting requirements of 15MW-class wind turbines below 190 meters. More importantly, it breaks the conventional rule that the tower must descend in strong winds and can operate normally even on windy days, ensuring the construction efficiency.
The successful first lift this time is not only a key milestone in the breakthrough and advancement of the Qitaihe Wind Power project, but also a demonstration of the strength of domestic high-end lifting equipment in the new energy field. It provides solid support for the large-scale and efficient construction of China's wind power industry and helps accelerate the development of green energy. The project team will take this as an opportunity to continuously optimize the construction organization plan, strengthen the safety control throughout the entire process, precisely control every link of the subsequent hoisting operation, ensure the dual improvement of safety and efficiency, and lay a solid foundation for the project to be connected to the grid and generate electricity on schedule.
