In order to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th Party Congress, and solidly promote the theme of "learning ideology, strengthening party spirit, emphasizing practice and building new achievements", the headquarters of the company's organs, according to the work arrangements of the company's Party Committee, organized a trip to the Wu Zutai Martyrs Memorial Hall in Bai Miao Village, Yuanyang County on 29 June 2023. More than 30 party members and activists from the organ and the surrounding projects in Xinxiang went to Wu Zutai Martyrs' Memorial Hall in Baimiao Village, Yuanyang County, to carry out the theme of "Tracing the Red Footprints, Drawing Strength for Progress and Building a Happy Home" and "Learning Ideology, Strengthening Party Spirit, Emphasizing Practice and Building New Work" on July 1. Theme party day activities.

Li Chunliang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the company, attended the activity and made a request. He said, on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Party, it is significant to hold this activity. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out during his visit to the Red Flag Canal Memorial Hall that "the Red Flag Canal is a monument" and "the spirit of the Red Flag Canal lives on forever!" . The spirit of Hongqiqu, with its connotation of "self-reliance, hard work, solidarity and selflessness", was formed in the process of building the canal. Wu Zutai was the first of the 81 martyrs on the Red Flag Canal monument. He was the first revolutionary martyr to be posthumously recognized by the Republic, the designer of the first blueprint for the Red Flag Canal, the first and only expatriate to die building the Red Flag Canal, and an outstanding member of the Communist Party. Martyr Wu Zutai was an excellent representative of the spirit of Hongqiqu, an important part of the spirit of Hongqiqu. He is a model of a Communist Party member, the pride of his hometown people in Xinxiang, and the pride of our construction people. We should turn the study of the martyr's deeds into motivation for our future work and strive to build a happy home for our development company together.

Before the visit, Mr Xu Yongli, the president of the Wu Zutai Research Association and the initiator of the Wu Zutai Memorial Hall, gave a wonderful lecture to the participants. The story of the martyr was so touching that it made people weep. Wu Zutai gave up the city, stayed away from his parents, postponed his marriage, and devoted himself to the design and construction of the Red Flag Canal with a passion to learn to serve his country.

By visiting the Wu Zutai Martyrs' Hall, we got to know Wu Zutai better and felt his greatness. He devoted himself to the Taihang Mountains, postponing his wedding three times to survey and draw the first map of the diversion of Zhangzhang into the forest. He worked "one day equals twenty years", climbed 550 mountains, ran through 100 kilometres of the turbid Zhang River, surveyed and designed 362 buildings, large and small, and trained countless construction craftsmen. It was he who brought his knowledge and skills to the forefront, daring to hold the nose of the "Dragon King" through the mountains and across the streams, leading 100,000 troops with a single map, creating a miracle in the construction of the new China; it was his feat of sacrifice and selfless dedication that became a banner for the century-long project of the construction of the Red Flag Canal.

After the visit, we were immersed in the deeds of the heroes long afterwards and resolved to take the martyrs as an example and open up new horizons in our work. On the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Party, happy birthday to the great Communist Party of China! May the motherland be prosperous and strong!
