At 17:38 on July 21, with the precise installation of the final main truss, the steel roof truss hoisting project for Units 1 and 2 of the Gansu Nenghua Qingyang Power Plant's 2×660 MW coal-fired power project—conducted by our company—was successfully completed after more than half a month of intensive yet orderly construction. This milestone lays a solid foundation for roof sealing and comprehensive water isolation work in the turbine rooms, while simultaneously establishing a critical pathway for transitioning from civil engineering to mechanical equipment installation.

To address on-site construction challenges, the project management team optimized construction techniques by employing a ground-based integrated assembly approach and large-tonnage crawler crane lifting methods, thereby minimizing high-altitude welding operations and reducing safety risks at elevated heights while strengthening safeguards for roof truss installation. To ensure successful completion of the lifting tasks from the outset, the project team conducted comprehensive planning in advance, mobilized key technical personnel to refine drawings and conduct site condition surveys, developed specialized lifting construction plans, and collaborated with the supervising authority and client to complete multiple rounds of plan reviews and safety/technical briefings.

The steel roof truss in the steam turbine room serves as the core load-bearing framework of the roofing system. Its complete installation marks a prerequisite for achieving water isolation in the room. In the next phase, the project team will expedite the delivery of personnel and materials, coordinate construction activities—including the installation of profiled steel sheets, thermal insulation and waterproofing, and exterior wall enclosure—and closely monitor key milestones to meet schedule requirements, ensuring comprehensive water isolation of the steam turbine room at the earliest opportunity. This will create optimal conditions for the smooth installation of critical equipment such as steam turbines and generators.
