At 10:18 a.m. on June 19, 2025, amid the rumbling mechanical sounds, the first concrete pour for the foundation foundation of the 2nd and 3rd axes of the A row of the No. 1 main plant project was successfully completed, officially kicking off the construction chapter of the 2×660MW coal-fired power project of Gansu Energy Chemical in Qingyang.

The 2x660MW coal-fired power project of Gansu Energy and Chemical Industry in Qingyang, as a key construction project to enhance the transmission capacity of the main grid of Gansu Power grid, ensure the power load demand in the eastern part of Gansu Province, and improve the stability and power supply reliability of the northwest power grid, has received high attention from leaders at all levels of the Ning County Government of Qingyang City, Gansu Energy and Chemical Industry Investment Group, and Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute. Since the project was undertaken, the company has attached great importance to the promotion and construction of this project, taking the high-standard start of construction as the primary node of this project. Under the leadership of Project Manager Niu Yanbin, the project management team implemented all the requirements of the company, meticulously planned and scientifically organized, laying a solid foundation for the smooth pouring of the first concrete for the main factory building foundation, and received unanimous recognition from the general contractor, the owner and the supervision unit.
