Xinxiang Tianrun Wind Power Parity Demonstration Project Wins "China Power Quality Engineering Award"

On June 01, 2023, China Electric Power Construction Association released the evaluation results of "2023 China Electric Power Quality Project", and the "Xinxiang Tianrun Wind Power Parity Grid Demonstration Project" constructed by the Company was awarded the "2023 China Electric Power Quality Project Award". The "2023 China Electricity Quality Engineering Award" was awarded to the "Xinxiang Tianrun Wind Power Parity Grid Demonstration Project" constructed by the Company.


The "Xinxiang Tianrun Wind Power Parity Demonstration Project" is the first wind power project constructed by the company. For the construction of this project, the company's leadership actively deployed management personnel, set up a professional complementary and experienced management project management team, and to create national excellence as the standard, around safety, quality, progress and other meticulous secondary planning. During the construction process, the company's leaders at all levels went deep into the site and took the lead; all construction personnel rose to the challenge and fought bravely. The project department overcame many difficulties such as tight schedule, heavy tasks, many cross operations, high pressure of external coordination, rainy season and winter construction, etc. It strengthened the control of project node plan, optimized on-site construction plan, reasonably arranged construction process, deepened safety and civilization construction management, strengthened on-site quality process control, actively carried out technical innovation activities, and arranged on-site work in reverse schedule to ensure safety, quality and progress. After inspection and acceptance at all levels, the project sub-items, divisions and unit works passed and the excellent rate reached 100%, and was rated as a high-quality project by China Electric Power Construction Enterprises Association. Since the project was put into operation, the automatic and protection devices have been put into operation at a rate of 100%, with a correct action rate of 100%. After the unit was put into operation, the annual utilization hours were 2568 hours (design value 2031 hours) and the comprehensive plant electricity consumption rate was 2.07% (design value 3%), with all indicators better than the design value and at the leading level of similar units in China at the same time.


The construction process of the project strictly implements the mandatory provisions of engineering construction. The project construction farm road is narrow and the traffic condition is poor, due to the tower and fan blade used in the project are heavy and long, the equipment and material transportation and construction is difficult. In the face of various unfavourable factors such as transportation, loading and unloading, lifting, etc., the company planned ahead, managed scientifically and pushed forward the project construction. The project department has established and improved various management systems for construction, safety, quality, technology and cost, which are closely integrated with the actual project, and prepared various construction planning schemes, combined with various transportation schemes such as plate trucks and crawler trucks, to overcome the difficulties in transporting equipment and materials; during the construction process, in view of the deflection of the anchor bolts in the horizontal direction after installation to the upper and lower anchor plates, and the overall deformation of the anchor bolts around the vertical axis of the anchor bolts assembly of the wind turbine foundation, the company has prepared    a wind turbine construction plan for the deformation of the anchor bolts.       The company compiled wind turbine foundation construction methods to effectively improve the overall accuracy of the wind turbine foundation anchor bolt assembly, improve the quality of the wind turbine foundation anchor bolt assembly, and reduce the difficulty of tower lifting; in response to some irregularities that often occur during the installation of wind turbines, especially the blade lifting accident that occurs easily when the blade touches the tower or the main arm of the crane, as well as the accident that occurs when the processes are not well connected with each other and the mechanical equipment, crane and crane are not well connected. In view of the problems and the actual operational difficulties, the company carried out research, conducted a large number of field tests and calculations, developed and formed "a wind turbine hoisting construction method" to improve the hoisting efficiency of the unit, and laid a solid foundation for the creation of power quality projects.
