At 8:58 AM on May 14, upon the completion of the final precise concrete pouring, the main chimney structure of the State Power Investment Corporation's Fenyi Power Plant 2×1000MW unit expansion project was successfully topped out. This milestone achievement marks a decisive victory in the civil engineering phase of the project, laying a solid foundation for subsequent unit installation, commissioning, and timely power generation.

The recently topped-out chimney features a double-pipe reinforced concrete structure with an outer cylinder height of 231 meters, employing a design combining a "reinforced concrete outer cylinder and a titanium steel composite panel inner cylinder," making it the project's core landmark structure. During construction, the project team strictly adhered to regulatory requirements such as the "Chimney Engineering Technical Standard" and the "Large Volume Concrete Construction Standard," overcoming multiple technical challenges including high-altitude operations, temperature control for large-volume concrete, and high-precision verticality control. By utilizing a hydraulic lifting and formwork reversal technique, they rigorously monitored safety, quality, and progress throughout the process, achieving the goals of zero accidents and full compliance with quality standards
