On May 24th, the company's Engineering Management Department organized a special observation meeting on lean construction at the site of the 2×1000MW project of Shaanxi Investment Xinfeng Energy. Representatives from the company's Engineering Management Department and the technical backbone of 8 projects focused on the key and difficult points of the construction organization of the main building of the thermal power plant. Through on-site observation, experience sharing and special discussions, they further improved the construction technology management level. Help improve the quality and efficiency of the project.
On the day of the meeting, the participants first listened to a detailed introduction by project engineer Yuan Xinqi about the construction organization structure and project progress of Xinfeng Power Plant in the conference room. Subsequently, Project Manager Zhang Liwei presided over the on-site observation session, leading the team to visit the construction sample display area and the material processing plant successively. At the construction site, he provided in-depth explanations on the construction process and management key points of the main factory building. During the observation, Manager Zhang emphasized the core role of the project's pre-planning and construction process control, stressing that "only when the planning, organization, and execution are all in place can the on-site civilized construction standards and project quality meet the expected goals."
At the subsequent special seminar, the participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as "How to create quality projects with care", and offered suggestions on issues like process optimization and quality control. At the meeting, Manager Zhang, based on the recent observations of the engineering highlights of China Coal Yongcheng Power Plant and State Power Investment Binhai Power Plant, compared and analyzed the improvement space of the company's projects of the same scale during the same period. He emphasized that we should "break away from rigid thinking, adhere to the concept of 'going out and bringing in', and continuously consolidate the company's leading position in the field of engineering quality and safety management in the industry."
Finally, Li Na, the director of the company's Engineering Management Department, pointed out in her concluding remarks that this observation meeting, through the form of "on-site observation, on-site learning, and joint discussion", effectively promoted the sharing of management experience and the transformation of technological achievements. She required each project department to take this activity as an opportunity to transform the learning achievements into execution ability and continuously improve the standardization and refinement of engineering management. The Engineering Management Department will establish a regular observation and exchange mechanism in the future, organize mutual visits and learning for key projects on a regular basis, and lay a solid management foundation for promoting the high-quality development of the company.
